Are you looking for fun CVC easy-prep puzzles? These printable phonics games specifically target reading CVC words and final sounds. They are designed for Early Years pupils to practice decoding, blending, and reading skills in an engaging way. This resource can be used during lessons, in literacy centres, as independent work, homework assignments, Home Education, substitute lessons or extra reading practice. Pupils can work individually or in small groups to complete the puzzles. Differentiation is easy - either use the vowel in a different color for extra support and provide more than 1 letter for the initial sound as a challenge. You will get: 10 puzzles each with: a picture 3 letters ( the word) Challenge 2 extra letters for the final sound (some of the extra letters are ones that are often confused in the graphic e.g. g and q and some where the sounds can be easily confused e.g. d and t) You will also get: letters underlined that are easily confused if they are the wrong way round such as b, n, u notes how to differentiate the activity vowels in a different color to make this easier answers for quick self assessment patterns for the backs of cards The resources are in color and black & white for more printing options. The letters and pictures are all numbered so it is easy to see which letters go with which puzzle. Make subitizing and counting numbers up to 10, adding and reading (number) words fun by using this easy-prep maths 4th of July resource. Your early years students can play math games such as Memory, Pairs and Snap in small groups or individually and use their mathematics skills to count, subitize, read number words and find the matching numeral to the quantity they have counted. This resource is ideal for celebrating the 4th of July with red, blue and white stars and stripes for counting, but it can be used throughout the year. Most young children love games and these resources lend themselves well to playing popular games practicing key math skills and recognising numerals, addition to 10 and reading words. Students can play this as part of their CHIL, or child-initiated independent learning activities or as part of a maths lesson. Decide whether you would like your students to count, add or read and put the relevant cards in your tuff tray to encourage these key mathematical skills or use them for your maths lesson or table.
